Black History Month Run + Walk

Join Pacers, FITDC, Asics, and Franklin Hall for the third annual Black History Month Run + Walk!

Enjoy a walk, run (or walk/run combo) that will lead you to historical spots in DC with major importance to Black History.

After the walk/run, spend some time at Franklin Hall with other runners, as well as grab a specialty BHM shirt while supplies last.

About the event

Attendees will have the option to participate in a 2 mile walk, a 4 mile run, or a walk/run combo on the 4 mile route.

This event is dog and stroller friendly.

Tristan Lewis is wellness advocate, yogi teacher, DJ, and the Founder of Heal Day, a global celebration of health and wellness that work through the traumas of 2020 and beyond while exploring traumas that might be hindering their personal growth and development.

Radiance Basden

Radiance Basden is a Hall of Fame well-being consultant, coach, yoga instructor, and NASM certified personal trainer dedicated to advancing human development, and founder of Rooted in Radiance, a wellness enterprise headquartered in Washington, DC.

Fred Irby

Freddie co-founded the Juneteenth Marathon, a non-profit organization that organizes an annual running event to formally and physically bring together the many disparate running clubs and communities throughout the Washington, DC and Baltimore
regions.

Alexis Jones

Alexis Jones is the founder and CEO of Transcend Clinical Services, Inc. She is a Licensed
Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Supervisor, and Psychotherapist. She is extremely passionate about curating safe spaces for individuals to feel heard and supported.
